How it works

1. Create your account

With Sign in with Apple or Google. No password to remember and no phone number asked.

2. Rate a few places

Start with the places you already know. The more you rate, the more the suggestions look like you. You can also set your neighbourhood so distances make sense.

3. Add your friends

Share your link or your code, or look a friend up by their exact username. Mazyo never reads your address book.

4. Ask for a recommendation

Alone, or by choosing who is coming. You get a main pick, alternatives and the reasons for each suggestion.

How Mazyo picks a place

Mazyo gives more weight to the reviews of your close friends, of people whose tastes look like yours, and to the most recent ones. A place that a member of the group did not like is not suggested, and neither is a place over a known budget or too far for someone.

When Mazyo lacks information, it says so: the more you rate and the more your friends rate, the more precise it gets. “No place fits” is better than a bad address.
